- On Monday in New Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Pariksha Pe Charcha initiative received 3.53 crore registrations, entering Guinness World Records for 'most people registered on a citizen engagement platform in one month.'
- Hosting the eighth edition on the MyGov platform, Minister Jitin Prasada praised its digital innovation amid record-breaking registrations, featuring Deepika Padukone, MC Mary Kom and Sadhguru.
- During a ceremony in New Delhi, Rishi Nath, Guinness World Records adjudicator, announced the record and presented the certificate for over 21 crore viewers of PPC 2025.
- Amid the record announcement, Dharmendra Pradhan praised PPC as a national movement transforming the exam experience under Modi’s leadership, and Vaishnaw called the record-breaking participation a sign of public trust.
- As PPC continues to expand, programme officials express confidence it will grow bigger, bolder and better each year, aligning with NEP 2020’s goals of stress-free, experiential learning.
