Charlotte FC was eliminated from the US Open Cup on Wednesday after a 3-3 draw and a 2-1 loss in a penalty shootout. DC United’s Jordan Farr, making his debut, saved four of five penalties to seal the win. The back-and-forth match featured goals from Patrick Agyemang, Bill Tuiloma, and Tyger Smalls for Charlotte.
