Cleveland Mountain Rescue team were called into action on Sunday after a woman sustained a lower leg injury during the Whitby Whalebones Walk.

A Dutch tourist who was hiking on a mountain near the Italian volcano Vesuvius was seriously injured in a fall. He hit his head on the stone ground and became unwell. A helicopter was called in to bring him down.
