July 9 marks the fifth anniversary of the historic U.S. Supreme Court decision on McGirt v. Oklahoma, the case that affirmed the Muscogee (Creek) Nation’s status as a sovereign nation. The Tribe commemorated the anniversary with a panel at the College of the Muscogee Nation featuring Tribal leaders on Tuesday, July 8.
