Facial Recognition Revolution in Entrance Exams by 2026

The National Testing Agency plans multi-layer biometric checks to prevent impersonation and malpractice during exams, starting with JEE (Mains) in 2026, officials said.

  • The long-term plan proposes a Digi-Exam biometric digital-exam platform modelled on DigiYatra, aiming to curb impersonation through real-time identity verification during exams, officials said.
