- Rare sightings of the Northern Lights illuminated the night sky across the country, including Suffolk, Kent, Hampshire, and Liverpool.
- The phenomenon extended as far as Ireland, where the Irish weather service shared images from Dublin and Shannon Airport in Co Clare.

Another geomagnetic storm will occur tonight causing the Aurora Borealis to be more active for the second consecutive night. The aurora will be visible for parts of West Virginia, Kentucky and Ohio this evening. Peak viewing hours will be between 9pm and midnight, but the aurora will still be visible until 2am.
