Changes coming to property assessment notices
Property owners in Liberty County will see important changes to their 2025 Annual Notice of Assessment, thanks to new legislation passed by the Georgia General Assembly. House Bill 581 introduces statewide updates to how property value notices are presented, how tax estimates are shared, and when homestead exemptions can be filed.
