N.J. MVC Next-of-Kin Registry helps notify emergency contacts after vehicle crashes

In the wake of a tragedy, New Jersey established the Next-of-Kin Registry, a statewide web-based system that allows residents to voluntarily submit emergency contact information.The registry, managed by the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission, was created in response to “Sara’s Law,” named after Sara Elizabeth Dubinin from Sayreville who passed away following a vehicle crash in 2007.
