On Monday, the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League's (QMJHL) newest franchise slotted in another big piece of the puzzle in naming Gordie Dwyer its first bench boss and general manager.

Former NHLer Gordie Dwyer has been named the first head coach and general manager of the Newfoundland Regiment hockey team.
