Lawmakers aim to shut down entire car dealership in northeast state
Lawmakers are working on a plan to shut down Tesla dealerships in New York State. The plan, backed by New York state Sen. Patricia Fahy, would remove a waiver that permits Tesla to operate five in-person dealerships in New York instead of selling cars through dealer franchises, which other carmakers must do, the New York Times reported.
