Daft Punk and LEGO Join Forces for New Partnership, "Alive 2007" Set Confirmed
The collaboration expands into product, content and brand experiences after a father-and-son fan build won LEGO Ideas support from 10,000 fans.
On Oct. 22, The LEGO Group and Daft Punk announced a new partnership to "inspire and remix fandoms," launching with a fan-designed LEGO set featuring the iconic pyramid stage from the duo's 2007 Alive tour.
Designed by Patrick Harboun and his son during the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown, the model reached 10,000 supports on LEGO Ideas before languishing in a production "Parking Lot" awaiting approval.
Beyond the initial set, the collaboration promises "product, content and brand experiences" crossing music and culture. The duo previously appeared as Minifigures in Pharrell's 2024 Lego-animated documentary Piece, collaborating on the hit track Get Lucky.
This release marks a significant return for the electronic producers, who announced their breakup in February 2021. The partnership celebrates their legacy and deep connection with fans through new creative offerings.
With further details expected in 2027, the deal positions Daft Punk to influence new generations through creative innovation. The project serves as a "mashup of surprising events," bridging electronic music history and the LEGO brand's diverse audience.
