At around 11:40 pm on the 13th, a moped attempting to turn right collided with a car traveling straight in the opposite lane at an intersection on National Route 58 in Ojana, Ginowan City, Okinawa Prefecture. The man driving the moped, a 22-year-old man from Ginowan City, suffered a severe head injury and was taken to a hospital in the center of the main island in critical condition and unconscious.
