More and more tourists are avoiding Iași. The historic record from 2023 is difficult to sustain

The beginning of the year was not exactly encouraging for Iasi tourism. In the first two months of 2025, arrivals in tourist reception structures with accommodation functions decreased by 7.2% compared to the same period in 2024, and the number of overnight stays decreased by 7.1%, according to data provided by the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
