On May 18, 2025, a man was found dead in the Warner Valley area from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. At approximately 11:27 a.m., the St. George Consolidated Communications Center received a call reporting an adult man in the Warner Valley area who had apparently shot himself accidentally.
