A MAN, aged in his 50s, has died after being hit by a car on a busy road in Co Offaly. Gardai and emergency services rushed to the scene of the fatal collision on the N62 at Killeenboy in Cloghan shortly after 11pm last night. The pedestrian, a man aged in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was brought to Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore where a post-mortem examination will take place in due course.
