An estimated 10,000 people demonstrated in Rotterdam against Israel’s continued attacks on the Gaza Strip. The demonstration was organized by a group of Imams to speak out “against injustice and genocide and for justice,” according to a call to join the protest posted on social media.

The municipality of Rotterdam expects major traffic disruption in the city on Sunday afternoon due to a Gaza demonstration. The Coolsingel will be closed in both directions between 3:00 and 7:00 p.m.
