Police chase ends with wrong-way crash on Ohio 2; shooting suspect arrested
ELYRIA, Ohio — A suspect in a “series” of drive-by shootings tried to escape from officers Thursday by driving the wrong way on Ohio 2, causing a multi-vehicle crash and being thrown from his own car, police say.Terrence Jackson, 38, of Lorain, ended up being arrested in the roadway on Ohio 2, police say. He was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, along with three people from other vehicles involved in the crash.

ELYRIA, Ohio (WJW) - A Lorain man faces charges after investigators said he led a police chase through Lorain County on Thursday that ended in a crash with multiple injuries. Around 2:15 p.m., officers with the Elyria Police Department tried to pull over a black Jeep on Lake Avenue, near Rambler Avenue.
