- Parking has been strictly prohibited around Arun Jaitley Stadium with towing and fines enforced, while labelled vehicle parking includes P1 near Vikram Nagar and offsite lots at Rajghat Powerhouse and Mata Sundari Lane.
- Commuters have been advised to plan their journeys and avoid specified routes from 10 am as public movement rises around 11 am, while fans are urged to use Delhi Metro and public buses for the sold-out event.
- Dense fog at Indira Gandhi International Airport delayed Messi's Mumbai–Delhi flight by nearly an hour, cancelling 61 flights; the event starts 40 minutes late and his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi was cancelled.
