Trailer fire near Madoc

Centre Hastings firefighters were busy on Saturday evening with a trailer fire just south of Madoc. Firefighters were called out to the area of Quin Mo Lac Road, near the intersection of Mile Point Lane, at close to 7:30 p.m. A trailer had caught fire, with one man residing in the trailer being taken to Belleville General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Firefighters had cleared the scene by 9 p.m.
