About 1,000 people attended the Sonora Pride event Sunday at Mother Lode Fairgrounds, said organizers with CalPride Sierras, the Sonora-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that serves the LGBTQ+ community in Amador, Calaveras, Mariposa and Tuolumne counties.
