Staff from the City of Waterloo and a wildlife relocation team were seen herding several Canada geese into a trailer on Tuesday. It's part of a pilot program to safely relocate the geese to the Jack Miner Migratory Bird Sanctuary in Kingsville, Ont. City staff are hoping to "reduce conflicts between geese and people, and cut down on the mess from goose poop" at the park, which is seasonally home to about 250 Canada geese.
