TEHRAN, Dec. 12 (MNA) – The Lebanese army says it has sent troops to the town of Khiam near the border with the occupied territories following the withdrawal of Israeli forces under a recent ceasefire deal.
Lebanese soldiers replaced Israeli forces in southern Lebanon on Wednesday, in accordance with the truce agreement between the IDF and Hezbollah.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed the withdrawal of troops from the area of Khiam in southern Lebanon. This conclusion comes in accordance with the ceasefire agreement concluded in November.
