Council asked to take on splash park - The Iola Register

With organizers still about $150,000 short of their goal to build a splash park in Iola, the city was asked Monday to take on the project.  It’s taken nearly four years for organizers to raise more than $52,000 to go toward construction of a splash park in Iola. During their regular council meeting, Kipling Town Council decided on a location for a future Splash Park, beside the pool where the sand volleyball courts are located.
