In his speech on the occasion of the national holiday, King Philippe used a sharp speech to denounce the situation in Gaza, in words of an unprecedented force, in the mouth of the Head of State.
"The situation in Gaza has been dragging on for far too long and is a disgrace to humanity," King Philippe said in his traditional speech marking the national holiday on July 21st. The king believes that Europe must be stronger and stand up against the "brutal power struggle" in the world.
The Belgian King Philippe made these comments in a sustained Sunday speech. He said that Belgium supports the UN Secretary-General's call for "the immediate detection of this unbearable crisis".
