- Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa ordered half-day classes from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., requiring teachers' post-1 p.m. enumeration duties including holiday work outside Bengaluru.
- The Karnataka High Court ordered safeguards for respondents' privacy and officials warned of disciplinary action against those delaying the enumeration.
