The ex-Minister of Finance has started his prison term
Former Finance Minister Karl-Heinz Grasser (formerly FPÖ, later ÖVP-near) was sentenced to four years in prison in the trial for corruption-related Buwog privatisation for infidelity and gift acceptance. On Monday noon he arrived at the Innsbruck Detention Centre to serve his sentence.

Karl Heinz Grasser is officially in custody. Shortly after 1 p.m., he arrived at the Judicial Institute in Innsbruck, as the Tiroler Tageszeitung reports.
