- Vennala Kalagotala lost in the semifinals to Liu Si Ya with scores of 15-21, 18-21, while Tanvi Sharma was defeated by Yin Yi Qing 13-21, 14-21 in her semifinal match.
- India has now added a total of eight medals in its 25-year history at the Asian Junior Championships, including two gold, one silver, and six bronze before Kalagotala and Sharma's victories.
