The British star is through to the first clay-court final of his career at the Madrid Open.

The British left-hander took the best in three sets on the Italian on Friday, in the semifinals, on Madrid's beaten ground.

The British Jack Draper and the Norwegian Casper Ruud are in the finals of the Masters 1000 in Madrid. The Englishman, with three titles in his history and six more finals, including the one he lost in Doha in 2025, fulfills his third presence in Madrid. His rival, who has not yet achieved a success of this level also seeks to be among the top ten in the world.
