Israeli fire kills five people in Gaza, including a child, medics say

Despite the ceasefire, Israeli attacks continued overnight across southern Lebanon, including a two-pronged raid on Arab Salim that killed three people and separate strikes in Deir and Doueir.
An overnight Israeli airstrike on an apartment building in the Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City killed four members of the Safadi family, with bodies transported to Al-Shifa Hospital.
The strike also injured 12 others, while The Israeli military did not offer an immediate response when asked by AFP about the two incidents.
At least 1,012 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since the 10 October ceasefire, according to Gaza's health ministry, as progress on permanently ending the war remains stalled.
