Investigation underway in death of bulldozer operator at Tyrrell County sand pit - The Coastland Times

A 52-year old man died last week when a bulldozer he was operating slid into a Tyrrell County sand pit with 30 feet of water. Kendle Davis, an experienced heavy equipment operator from Tyrrell County, was on his first day working at the sand pit, located east of Columbia.
