Ukraine, which has been attacked by Russia, has recently received much more aid from Europe than at the beginning of the year.
In March and April, the US did not provide new Ukraine military aid. However, aid from Europe has increased significantly – and is largely closing the gap.
Ukraine received more substantial military, financial and humanitarian aid this year, while the United States no longer announced any new aid for Ukraine, according to the Kiel Institute for the Global Economy (IfW) of Germany, which estimates 294 billion euros of Ukraine's external aid since the beginning of the war with Russia, reports AFP and DPA, the city of Agerpres.

For the first time in three years, the EU provided Ukraine with more military aid than the United States during the months of March and April, according to the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, a German-based research center that monitors international support for Kiev.
