- On Tuesday , the Ministry of Civil Aviation said IndiGo will operate 10 special relief flights from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to India, subject to approvals and airspace conditions.
- Widespread airspace closures caused by regional strikes and retaliations led to 357 cancellations on Monday, leaving thousands stranded, according to the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
- IndiGo initially planned four flights from Jeddah to Mumbai, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad but expanded services to connect Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi and Ahmedabad, coordinating with the Consulate General of India at Jeddah, PTI reported.
- The Centre said it is in touch with Indian missions across the Gulf as airlines and foreign aviation regulators arrange special procedures and UAE carriers operate exceptional repatriation flights.
- Despite ad hoc repatriation, operations to Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE remain suspended until 11:59 p.m. IST on March 3, while Oman is open and Air India Express resumes six Muscat flights.
