Rosatom Suspends Work on Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant in Iran - over 600 Russian Employees Leave Iran
Work has stopped at the construction sites, in the second and third units of the station, the company's CEO said.
Rosatom employees are unable to contact the leadership of the Iranian nuclear industry due to the war in the Middle East, said Alexey Likhachev, the head of the Russian state corporation.
The Russian nuclear agency Rosatom announced on March the suspension of operations at the Iranian nuclear power station from Bushehr and the evacuation of Russian personnel, as a result of the risks created by American-Israeli bombings, Reuters transmits.
According to US President Trump, Iran has recently continued to strive for nuclear weapons, and the top UN nuclear watchman does not provide any confirmation.
