IAEA chief reaffirms agency’s support for Kyiv amid visit to Ukraine
Rafael Grossi conducts 12th visit to war-torn country since start of Russia-Ukraine war, holds talks with top officials, as well as President Volodymyr Zelenskyy - Anadolu Ajansı
The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency Rafael Mariano Grossi and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga held an important meeting in Kyiv, as a result of which they agreed on further support for Ukraine from the IAEA.
They talked about the situation at the occupied ZNPP: Zelensky met with the IAEA Director General Volodymyr Zelensky met with the IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi. The main attention was paid to the situation at the ZNPP and the safety of the Chernobyl NPP, and cooperation projects were also discussed.
