In Ukraine, the deputy mayor of the border town of Sokiriana in Chernovitz province was detained and suspected of organizing illegal cross-border transport of men of conscript age, and similar incidents in the Ukrainian border have long since ceased to be rare. According to Ukrainian border guards, since the outbreak of the full-scale war, more than 45,000 men have attempted to leave the country illegally.
