Shorter working hours? The Ministry will announce the pilot rules

Fruit Thursdays are no longer enough - this is the opinion expressed by Minister Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk in Monday's Gość Wydarzeń. The politician stated that if an employee has a choice between fruit Thursday or more time for the family, they will choose time for the family. According to the minister, shortening working hours even brings financial benefits.

The voluntary pilot of a four-day workweek was announced by the Minister of Family, Labor and Social Policy, Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk. "The working hours of Polish women and men must be shortened, of course while maintaining the same level of remuneration," said the minister.

The Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Policy (MRPiPS) plans to announce the conditions for participation in the shortened working week pilot by 30 June.
