The first instance decision has become final.
László Kiss, the mayor of Óbuda-Békásmegyer, was released from pre-trial detention after nine months on May 19. On Monday, June 2, he announced on his Facebook page that the arrest warrant against him had been lifted. According to the politician, the proceedings against him were a manhunt to disable him and other opposition leaders.
It seems that László Kiss can continue his defense on a free transfer.
