Hundreds of patients infected with HMPV virus, number of flu deaths rises

During the past week, 115 new cases of the virus were diagnosed among patients in the community and hospitalized in hospitals. These are additional cases and now constitute about 18% of all samples tested among those hospitalized for the virus. It should be noted that the virus is not new, but it continues to receive attention.
