At a meeting on Monday, Aug. 26, the Horry County Board of Education approved plans to purchase a 66.7-acre tract off of Enoch Road in Aynor for roughly $1.4 million using the interest reserve fund. The board also heard plans regarding the new Linewize Monitoring system the district will begin to use.
