He was born in the Toledana town of Villasequilla, but since his departure from the General Military Academy in 1985, already a lieutenant of the Civil Guard, he has lived in Guipúzcoa, Lérida or Madrid. Places where he has served in the Rural Antiterrorist Groups (what is now called Rapid Action Groups), in the Information Service, in citizen security or in the Fiscal Service and Borders.
