Guillermo Arriaga (Mexico City, 1958) has returned. He has done so this time with the Ucronía El Hombre (Alfaguara), which tells the story of Henry Lloyd, once an invader, looter and murderer who built an empire on which, among other things, the United States was formed and the origins of capitalism can be seen. “What I wanted to tell was the story of a character who creates an empire,” explains the writer also about the origin of this novel.
