Verwaltungsgericht Berlin - Judgment: "Schmerzgriff" of the police allowed in principle - with climate activist but disproportionate

The Berlin police have wrongly applied the so-called "pain grip" to a climate activist.

In order to dissolve a peaceful street blockade, the Berlin police used pain interventions. Wrongly, the administrative court decided. The principle admissibility of pain attacks did not question it.

The police dissolve a demonstration of the last generation. Nevertheless, participants refuse to leave the square. Police officers drag a young man away. He therefore moves to court.
