The officers of the National Coast Guard (NCG) of Trou aux Biches made the macabre discovery of the body of a 39-year-old man, on August 4, in the lagoon of Grand Baie. He was floating about 300 metres from the beach of La Cuvette. The body was in a state of decomposition. The NCG personnel recovered the body and transported it to the nearest beach.
