The Government is considering suspending 270,000 disability pensions for people with unknown addresses. The National Disability Agency launched an operation to verify one million pensions. So far, it was unable to contact more than a quarter of the beneficiaries.
The Ministry of Health sent more than 550,000 notifications to certify the documentation and managed to contact only half of the beneficiaries. They claimed that in more than 220,000 cases the informed address was not found and that in the remaining cases they could not record the delivery of the documentation.
