As announced, the coalition is launching a ban on headscarfs for underage girls in schools. A corresponding bill will be reviewed on Wednesday, announced Integration Minister Claudia Plakolm (ÖVP)
The government sends a bill to the announced headscarf ban for girls under 14 in review. Previous concerns of the Constitutional Court are also to be refuted with study results from France.
The new attempt to ban Muslim headscarfs at school does not solve the problems and must still exist before the Supreme Judges. Nevertheless, there are good arguments for the advance.


Austria has decided to ban headscarfs for girls under 14 years of age in schools. In the future, an integration course should also be mandatory for the children and families with many children should receive less social assistance. But is that right?
