Goa CM Confirms No Ola, Uber with New Taxi Guidelines

“Ola and Uber are not coming here,” said Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant. “People should not be confused by the guidelines.” He clarified, according to an Indian Express report, that the guidelines aim to regulate the existing taxi system, not to grant permits to new companies, referring to non-Goan taxi aggregators like Ola, Rapido, and Uber.
