Gas station south of Nanaimo robbed at knifepoint

Nanaimo RCMP are looking into a robbery that took place in the early hours of Wednesday, June 18th, at the Gas N Go located near Morden Road on the Trans-Canada Highway.
The suspect entered the store brandishing a knife and made demands to a store employee who complied to ensure safety, then fled with cash and merchandise.
The police described the suspect as a slim young man, likely in his late teens or early twenties, approximately 5'10" to 6 feet tall. At the time of the incident, he was dressed in a blue shirt, dark-colored trousers, athletic shoes with stripes, a black baseball cap, dark-framed glasses, and had a white cloth partially obscuring his face.
RCMP released surveillance images and urged anyone with information or dashcam footage from the area between 3:30 and 4 a.m. to contact them at 250-754-2345 under file number 2025-18526.
The investigation remains active as police seek to identify the suspect and ask the public to report any suspicious persons, vehicles, or footage from the incident timeframe.
