Infamous D.C. intersection with a Wendy’s in the middle is now a plaza

The area informally known as “Dave Thomas Circle” has been renamed for Negro leagues pitcher Mamie “Peanut” Johnson and now includes park space and surrounding lanes that are meant to replace decades of traffic chaos.
