Friends Of Flight 93 Memorial Planning Fundraising Effort

An effort is being planned to raise as much as half-a-million dollars to support a project at the site of the Flight 93 Memorial in Somerset County.  The group Friends of Flight 93 National Memorial hope to replant 40 trees at the Shanksville site in memory of the victims who died at the scene in the 9-11 attacks of 2001.  Trees previously planted at the site did not fare well due to conditions with the soil.  Organizers hope to have the effort …
