The 2025 NCAA Track and Field Outdoor Championships got underway in Eugene on Wednesday afternoon, with the men taking to Hayward Field first. For the home town Oregon Ducks, the 800-meter semifinals were a highlight of the day. Freshman Koitatoi Kidali finishing second in one minute, 45.31 seconds and senior Matthew Erickson finishing fourth in 1:45.89 as both qualified for Friday’s finals.
